Who we areAbout Us

The success of LoopSpark came from living in the trenches with our customer base. LoopSpark was not created because there was an opportunity in the market, or because we thought it was just a cool idea – the success came because the product was built by fitness studio owners, to help ourselves and our fellow fitness entrepreneurs thrive.

  • 2010

John Homyk and Luca Critelli met at an online marketing conference, and right away they decided to work together in the advertising world. Through their company Clickview Interactive, they established themselves as experts in marketing and analytics, while building propetary automation tools to facilitate their clients' demands.

  • 2013

Clickview Interactive began licensing these tools to other online marketing agencies, and shifted the focus to 100% software development. Since 2013, Clickview Interactive has built, scaled and sold off multiple SaaS products from multivariate optimization tools to the first ever influencer exchange for performance marketers.

  • 2015

An opportunity presented itself for the Homyk family to open a Pure Barre studio in Carlsbad, California. The family relocated to Southern California to pursue the new venture.

While preparing to launch the studio, it quickly became clear that the existing marketing, reporting, and client engagement tools in the boutique fitness space were fragmented and insufficient. Running a successful studio required delivering an excellent customer experience, but no single platform provided a comprehensive CRM with automated journeys, customizable reporting, and team collaboration in one place.

  • 2017

Amid the early years of operating the studio, John became a parent and found himself juggling multiple roles at once. The demands of managing a growing business while raising a young child highlighted a critical gap in operational efficiency.

During that period, John began brainstorming solutions with his longtime development partner Luca. Together, they created what would eventually become LoopSpark (originally launched as "HelloManagers") to help streamline studio operations, assign and track staff responsibilities, automate client journeys, and free up valuable time for studio owners to focus on what matters most — their members and their families.

  • 2018

Through word of mouth, the product was adopted by a few other fitness studios that helped test and grow the product, eventually selling into over 260 Pure Barre locations.

  • 2019

After a year of working closely with our beta partners to develop a solution for individual studio owners and enterprise level solution for franchises, LoopSpark exited beta stage and opened our product to the public.

  • 2020

A difficult year everyone, especially the small businesses we support. We hosted town hall meetings to learn more about the evolving business landscape and needs of our clients, and quickly added features to support virtual class offerings and automated sequences to ensure our businesses stayed tethered to their communities.

  • 2021

Despite the obstacles LoopSpark and our customers were presented during the difficult Covid era, we all remained focused, we did not let our fears overshadow our dedication to our purpose, and we transmuted a challenging situation into a rewarding opportunity. In September 2021 LoopSpark was awarded with Mindbody's 2021 Partner Award for Growth Leadership.
